The H.Y.P.E. Club for Girls is a motivational program designed for girls ages 11-17 years old who live in the greater Seattle area. Interactive classes will be held weekly and lead by Director Alycia Mitchell and various staff members. In addition, there will be guest speakers and field trips monthly.

Classes will be held on Friday nights and Saturday mornings for 2-3 hours. The program will go for 12 months and will be a yearly revolving class. Program will officially launch Spring 2011.

H.Y.P.E. Club for Girls is here to aide young girls in becoming the strong, successful women that they all have the potential to be. As an education, intervention, and empowerment program for adolescent girls. The 12 month long program will cover 12 main topics. Each month there will be a different topic of discussion and education. Main topics will involve various weekly lessons and subtopics.

Some of the topics we will be covering include: As some topics are of a very sensitive nature and may contain mature subject matter or information, parent permission is required in order to participate in the program. Parent participation is also encouraged!

Young women in today’s society need an extra layer of armor in order to be successful in life. There are many issues that they are not aware of, are not able to deal with, or simply do not have the confidence to overcome.

H.Y.P.E. Club for Girls will be here to offer education, intervention, resources, counseling, mentoring and friendship to aide these young ladies into becoming the strong, successful women that they all have the potential to be.
